Prof. Pao-Ann Hsiung

Director, Smart Living Technology Research Center, Department of Computer Science& Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan.

Pao-Ann Hsiung received the B.S. degree in Mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC, in 1991 and 1996, respectively. From 1993 to 1996, he was a Teaching Assistant and System Administrator in the Department of Mathematics, National Taiwan University. From 1996 to 2000, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, ROC. From February 2001 to July 2002, he was an assistant professor and from August 2002 to July 2007 he was an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan, ROC. Since August 2007, he is a full professor. He was the Division Chief of Information Management at the Computer Center from May 2008 to July 2011. He was the department chair from August 2011 to January 2016. Then, he held the post of the Dean of International Affairs starting from February 2016 until now.

Prof. Pascal LORENZ

Pascal Lorenz received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences.
He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017). He has served as Co-Program Chair of IEEE WCNC'2012 and ICC'2004, Executive Vice-Chair of ICC'2017, TPC Vice Chair of Globecom'2018, Panel sessions co-chair for Globecom'16, tutorial chair of VTC'2013 Spring and WCNC'2010, track chair of PIMRC'2012 and WCNC'2014, symposium Co-Chair at Globecom 2007-2011, Globecom'2019, ICC 2008-2010, ICC'2014 and '2016. He has served as Co-Guest Editor for special issues of IEEE Communications Magazine, Networks Magazine, Wireless Communications Magazine, Telecommunications Systems and LNCS. He is associate Editor for International Journal of Communication Systems (IJCS-Wiley), Journal on Security and Communication Networks (SCN-Wiley) and International Journal of Business Data Communications and Networking, Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA-Elsevier).
He is senior member of the IEEE, IARIA fellow and member of many international program committees. He has organized many conferences, chaired several technical sessions and gave tutorials at major international conferences. He was IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer Tour during 2013-2014.



Dr. Warusia Yassin

Warusia Yassin is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Information and Communications Technology, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). He completes his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (2007), Master of Science (2010) and PhD (2015) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He received a recognition by MIMOS Berhad Malaysia as the best researcher in 2015. He bagged Silver Medal in Invention, Research and Innovation Exhibition (PRPI) 2014. He has executed vairous R&D, Consultancy projects funded by reputed organizations. His research interests include computer security, data mining, cloud and quantum computing.

Prof. Kurt Tutschku

Kurt Tutschku is a professor for telecommunication systems at the Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) since 2013. His research interest include future generation networks, Cloud systems and the new European edition of the Next Generation Internet (NGI). In particular he focuses on architecture design, network virtualisation, algorithms for network operation and design, Cloud service design, QoE, P2P systems, performance and network management, as well as network security and data privacy. Prior to BTH, Kurt was holding positions at the University of Vienna (Endowed Chair of Future Communication by A1 Telekom Austria), National Institute for Information and Communication Technology (NICT, Network Virtualisation Lab, Tokyo, Japan), Technical University of Chemnitz (Chair replacement), and the University of Wuerzburg (Group leader “New Network Architectures, Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Systems and Self-Organization”). Kurt Tutschku received his Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees from University of Würzburg in 1999 and 2008. Kurt has completed and is leading multiple funded academic and industry collaborations. His industry collaborations includes large scale companies like Ericsson, NSN, Telekom Austria, or Juniper. Moreover, he is also very actively collaborating with emerging companies like Outpost24 (SWE), CityNetwork (SWE), InfoSim (DE). His team contributed to various testbed projects using network virtualisation, such as GENI (US). Kurt is also member of IEEE, ACM, IEICE and GI. He serves as the General of the IEEE NFV-SDN 2017 and 2018 conferences (www.ieee-nfvsdn.org). He is also a frequent reviewer for the European Commission and Hoizon2020 projects..
